Two Keys:

Storfjord Hotel - A handcrafted log hotel outside Ålesund, overlooking the Storfjord. It blends traditional craftsmanship with refined comfort and panoramic fjord views — a place where Norwegian traditions meet modern design in spacious rooms.

One key:
Hotel Union Øye - A legendary 19th-century hideaway by the Hjørundfjord near Ålesund, where mountaineers, writers, artists, and royalty have found inspiration, tranquillity, and the good life since 1891.

Hotel Brosundet – A boutique hotel on Ålesund’s waterfront, housed in a former warehouse for local fisheries, offering an authentic and atmospheric stay in the Art Nouveau town. Friendly, calm, and comfortable.

Juvet Landscape Hotel – An architectural gem near Ålesund, famous from the film Ex Machina and the series Succession. Spectacular glass-and-wood cabins in the forest with floor-to-ceiling windows surrounded by pristine wilderness.

The MICHELIN Guide features more than 7,000 hotels around the world. According to the Michelin Guide, these are places that meaningfully add to the traveller’s experience, each vetted by the Guide’s hotel experts and judged as excellent across five categories: architecture and interior design; overall personality and character; quality and consistency of service; value for money; and the hotel’s contribution within its locality.
