Photo service

Visit Northwest has an extensive photo and film library with material from Møre og Romsdal, available for download in our media library. In addition, Visit Norway also has a media library that you can use.

Here are the links to the various media libraries

The purpose of Visit Northwest's photo library is national and international marketing of the region as a destination. The images may not be used in books, on T-shirts, postcards or similar items for commercial sale. The images may be used by the editorial press, tour operators, tourism businesses and member municipalities to market the region as a destination. All use of files in line with this purpose is free of charge for the user.

Files downloaded from the photo library may only be used for the purpose stated in the order. The files must then be deleted. If the images have an expiry date, you are responsible for removing them by the date specified.

If you wish to use the files for other purposes — in addition to, or instead of, the purpose stated when ordering — a new order must be submitted. The person ordering the files is responsible for ensuring they are used in accordance with the terms of use and for the purpose stated when ordering. Images may not be redistributed to other users.

All images used must be credited in line with the credit information provided for each individual file in the image database (click the thumbnail to access detailed information). Credit means a line such as "Photo: Einar Engdal/visitnorthwest.no".

Photos and films must not be manipulated, altered or reproduced in a way that damages the photographer's reputation. Use of images in breach of the terms of use will result in a penalty fee, also from the photographer.

Films may not be edited or cut into. A link or scanned document of the publication where the image is used should be sent to helen@visitnorthwest.no.

When used on digital platforms such as social media, @visitnorthwestnorway must be tagged.
